THE CLIFFHOUSE HAUNTING Reaches Bestseller Status

We’re thrilled to announce that THE CLIFFHOUSE HAUNTING has officially reached Amazon’s bestseller list. It ranks right behind Washington Irving’s THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, and Tom Clancy’s THREAT VECTOR.

THE CLIFFHOUSE HAUNTING takes place in the fictional town of Cliffside, California, where in 1887, the Cliffhouse Lodge became famous for its luxurious accommodations, fine dining, and its ghosts. But Cliffhouse has a dark side, too. During the Roaring Twenties, when it served such vices and rum-running and prostitution and a serial killer known as the Bodice Ripper terrorized the community, it was said that a phantom, known as the Blue Lady, walked when death was imminent.

Now, as the Cliffhouse Lodge is undergoing renovations, there’s a new serial killer in town. As the body count rises, the Blue Lady sightings have made a comeback, and hotel owners Adam and Teddy Bellamy are losing maids and guests to disembodied whispers, wet phantom footprints, and shrieks of madness that echo down the halls in the dead of night. Between the murders, the ghost sightings, a local vandal with a sick sense of humor, the deranged antics of the town doctor, and the histrionics of a New Age author and self-proclaimed psychic, police chief Jackson Ballou has his hands so full he can hardly pursue his romance with diner owner Polly Owen.

For more about THE CLIFFHOUSE HAUNTING, you can visit Hellnotes, where author Michael Aronovitz gives the novel a full review. We had a lot of fun with this book, and are thankful to the readers who have enjoyed it enough to make it a bestseller. THE CLIFFHOUSE HAUNTING is available on Amazon.com. You can also check out our serialized Gothic novel, THE GHOSTS OF RAVENCREST which has even more hauntings than the Cliffhouse Lodge itself. Currently, we are working on Ravencrest’s 7th installment. You can buy the first six on Amazon as well:

Darker Shadows (installments 1 – 3)

Christmas Spirits (Novella-length 4th installment)

Night Moves (5th installment)

Dead Girls (6th installment)

Thanks again to the readers! We currently have several works in the progress and are looking forward to releasing them within the coming months!
